Lifting electromagnets for cleaning of railcars from scrap

Application

These electromagnets are designed to clean railcars and transfer cold (ambient temperature) ferromagnetic loads, i.e. waste metal, scrap, charge mixtures, metal chips using traversing mechanisms.

The electromagnets are recommended for mounting on mobile excavators such as FUCHS, LIEBHERR, ATLAS, SENNEBOGEN, CAT, ZEPPELIN, KOVROVETS, TVEX, etc. completed with a generator control system and a special lifting bar enabling operation of the electromagnet without removing the grab. The electromagnets may be manufactured in heat-resistant versions (to transfer loads at temperatures up to 600°С), as well as versions for underwater operation.
